Small-town values and real estate values
Known for its unassuming, family-oriented character, Columbia Falls is a Montana original. Its residents pride themselves on their small-town atmosphere and friendly, outgoing spirit. They don’t put on airs here. They don’t have to. Columbia Falls is the last major town on Highway 2 before you get to the west entrance of Glacier National Park.

People here work hard and live for outdoor adventure. What is there to do? Well, how much time do you have? For starters, the Flathead River and its tributaries provide some of the finest fishing, canoeing and rafting anywhere in the country. The North Fork of the Flathead, a Wild and Scenic river, borders the western edge of Glacier Park. There’s also the cascading Middle Fork that flows along the south edge of Glacier, and the pristine South Fork that pours out of the Bob Marshall Wilderness.

The North Fork Road, which you can take 70 miles to Canada, gives you access to hiking, biking, camping, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in one of the most pristine and remote areas in the nation. In fact, there are over 200 miles of groomed trails and 2,000 miles of Forest Service roads that will take you deep into the surrounding woods. Get a good map.

In Columbia Falls itself, there is a popular outdoor water park, a Family Aquatic Center, acres of parks and athletic fields, and the Meadow Lake Golf Resort. In July, the town hosts Heritage Days, with a rodeo, parade, street dance, car show, and 5K and 10K runs. If you like small-town values and great real estate values, check out Columbia Falls. We would be happy to open some doors for you.
